I have tested this with both cassette and cd player and experienced the same results. Unless repaired, the amplifier cannot be considered working as the sound output is faulty as described.<\/em><\/div>\n<div><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/stevepedwards.today\/i.ebayimg.com\/images\/g\/8fsAAOSwiEVeXSRr\/s-l1600.jpg\" \/><\/div>\n<div><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-9378\" src=\"https:\/\/stevepedwards.today\/ElectronicsStuff\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/specs-3.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"471\" height=\"595\" \/><\/div>\n<div>Stereo phones, but no left speaker channel. Low volume for 0dB right channel for a 40W amp. Driver stage missing?<\/div>\n<div>The SVI 3102B is right before the speakers in the block diagram.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-9379\" src=\"https:\/\/stevepedwards.today\/ElectronicsStuff\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/blockPAmp.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"483\" height=\"734\" \/><\/div>\n<div>It has +\/-34 and -15V but no +15V to it's pins which is correct from the sux840 SVI3102A pinouts :<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-9216\" src=\"https:\/\/stevepedwards.today\/ElectronicsStuff\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/poweramppins.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"792\" height=\"725\" \/><\/div>\n<div>Guess it's backtrace the signals from the SVI3102 pins back through the circuit to see where it's lost...<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>July 2020<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Traced the signal from input to AN6554F op amp - missing channel output on pin 8 of the 4 amp, 14 pin DIL package.<\/div>\n<div>Desoldered using an impressive -\u00a380 140W station:<\/div>\n<div><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/stevepedwards.today\/i.ebayimg.com\/images\/g\/xEsAAOSwwCxbCw~X\/s-l1600.jpg\" \/><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Changed the 3120B amp for the 3120A amp from the SU840 also with this station - makes life MUCH easier!!<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ebay Casualty:-\u00a0 Please note: The unit powers on and amplifies however there are multiple issues when the unit does so.
