Outputs not working - this was ONLY an intermittent ground connex fault of the front board metal shield!! - not a blown SVI amp as I thought I had done at full volume on the old SVI unit- it was OK!! Bought\/fitted a replacement anyway, -\u00a35 - the grey type...no need..doh...<\/p>\n

I blew my Sondberg speakers at full power, so assumed SVI was blown too - prob was, but the initial fault (no output) still remained after SVI replacement, because it was a shield ground issue in the first place I dodn't check properly for!!<\/p>\n

  1. Don't rush used amp worst case, pessimistic diagnosis!<\/li>\n
  2. List all possible fault options and check by most likely\/simplest\/cheapest fixes first<\/li>\n
  3. Poke around a bit to see if connections are bad!!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
