All there was, a blown power fuse! No remote control...board covered in dried cement dust - good clean, re-soldered an 800mA fuse and it came to life.
CD tray is sticking, needs taking apart and cleaning.
Unfortunately, CD LED is gone, won't read disks. Got an original AXD7707- Remote Control for -£10 from Ebay. Needs a DAB aerial, as TV aerial won't find other than Radio Cornwall - wanted it for 70s and Country! Doh!
